Youth Activities

St. Luke’s welcomes people of all ages and we are fortunate to have a thriving community of young people. We have recently begun a ‘gap year project,’ whereby a young person volunteers for a year to work part time in our church and part time in local schools with the organization ‘Youth for Christ.’

In 2010 St. Luke's will be appointing a full time Youth & Children's Strategic Development Worker to oversee and develop the youth and children's act ivies in our Church and community.

All of our volunteers have been subject to appropriate police checks and work within our safeguarding policy. Our weekly youth activities are as follows:
Sunday
Youthie 7.30-9pm Year 7 upwards. A time for young people to meet together for fun, friendship and exploration of the Christian faith. We also arrange trips and weekends away at various points in the year.
Monday
Open Youth Club 8-9.30pm. Sports and activities for Year 10 upwards.
